Dr. Joseph Katzinger, ND

Dr. Joseph Katzinger is a naturopathic doctor with a background in biochemistry and genetics, and an interest in functional medicine and environmental toxicity. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1997 with an Honors BSc in biochemistry, and received his Naturopathic Medicine doctorate from Bastyr University in 2003.

A medical writer and research consultant, Dr. Katzinger has worked closely with Dr. Pizzorno for over a decade, developing tools for both physicians and patients, and writing extensively on a variety of topics. Prior to co-authoring Clinical Pathophysiology: A Functional Perspective, Dr. Katzinger contributed to numerous publications, including the Textbook of Natural Medicine, the British Journal of Nutrition and The Healing Power of Nature: The Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine and Ecology of Healing.
